This session helps teaching teams recognize stress behaviors in students and provides strategies to support families in co-regulation, connection-centered approaches, and fostering independence. Participants will receive practical tools, conversation prompts, and infographics to guide families through everyday challenges as well as key transitions, including returning to school after breaks, starting a new school year, navigating report card discussions and more.

The Raising Independent Learners session supports parents in understanding children’s stress, regulation, and daily routines, helping children take the lead in their own learning while parent’s step in as supportive coaches. Participants will explore strategies for smoother mornings, bedtime routines, and navigating everyday challenges in ways that encourage independence and confidence. Parents will walk away with concrete tools they can begin using as early as tomorrow to bring more ease, rhythm, and connection into their family’s day.
