Clay, Play & Uncovering Children's Connections

$0.00

During the summer Cara gathers clay from the land beneath the waterways with the children and during the school year, she brings all that passion to education teams!

Clay is one of the world's oldest creative materials, connecting us to the land, to storytelling, culture and to forms of expression that often extend beyond words. Vast in possibility, clay invites children to create, experiment, communicate, and make meaning through their hands while engaging their curiosity, imagination, and sense of wonder.

In this hands-on session, educators will roll up their sleeves and explore the possibilities of clay firsthand through a variety of open-ended and guided experiences. Together, we will consider how clay can support children's diverse ways of communicating, uncover their thinking and emerging inquiries, and create opportunities for creativity, connection, and deep engagement in learning.

Through exploration, discussion, and play, participants will reflect on meaningful ways to extend children's experiences, support inclusion and belonging, and recognize the stories, ideas, and enjoyment embedded within children's creations. Educators will leave with practical strategies, fresh inspiration, and a deeper appreciation for clay as a powerful medium for expression, learning, and connection in early learning programs.

Request a session to share your preferred date and a few details about your vision for the experience. Cara will connect with you to confirm your session, personalize your professional learning design plan and finalize the details.

Starting at $600 per session. Final pricing confirmed through consultation. No payment required at booking.
